Hello — today we take a closer look at one of the earliest works by Ricardo Rangels, a collection of 24 songs that were originally divided into two separate albums, but were later united into one expansive and symbolic project: Aesthetic Songs & Obscurances i Radeasances.

Written between 1989 and 2012, these compositions form a body of work with a distinctly transcultural and metaphysical aesthetic, where multiple languages, sounds, and spiritual visions coexist.
Within the album we find:

• Latin and pseudo-liturgical Latin (“Creator Omnium”, “Vulpis Dei”),
• Poetic and philosophical English (inspired by Nietzsche, “The Return of Jes”, “Der Übermensch”),
• Lyrical Spanish and Portuguese (“Hola Hola”, “O Desejo”),

In “Hype” and “Glich”, digital error merges with poetry, creating a dialogue between human emotion and machine logic.
